Jharkhand News Desk!!! NDA announced seat distribution for Jharkhand assembly elections in Ranchi on Friday. On Friday, BJP and AJSU announced seat sharing in a press conference at the state BJP office in Ranchi. In Jharkhand, BJP will contest on 68 seats, AJSU on 10, JDU on 2 and LJP on 1 seat. Let us tell you that there are 81 assembly seats in the state.

Earlier, Jharkhand BJP in-charge Shivraj Singh Chauhan said that BJP, AJSU, LJP and JDU will contest elections together in Jharkhand. We will campaign together. Jharkhand BJP President Babulal Marandi, Hemant Biswa Sarma, Shivraj Singh Chauhan and AJSU chief Sudesh Mahato were present during the press conference.

JDU-LJP will field their candidates on these seats

According to the information, AJSU will field its candidates on Silli, Gomia, Pakur, Jugsalai, Ichagarh, Ramgarh, Mandu, Lohardaga, Dumri and Manoharpur seats of the state. Whereas, Jamshedpur West and Tamar seats went to JDU and Chatra seat went to LJP.

Voting will be held in 2 phases in the state

Voting will be held on 43 seats of Jharkhand in the first phase on November 13. Voting for the second phase will be held on 38 seats on November 20. The results will be declared on 23 November. There are 81 assembly seats in the state. According to the Election Commission, till October 15, 2024, there are a total of 2.6 crore voters in Jharkhand. Of these, 1.29 crore are women and 1.31 crore are men. More than 11 lakh voters will exercise their franchise for the first time in the elections.
