Fatehabad. There was a sensation when the dead body of a 26-year-old youth was found on the road near Fatehabad Road and Badi Canal on Friday morning in Ratia city of the district. The face of the deceased youth was completely crushed due to which it seems that the young man was brutally murdered by crushing his face with stones. On receiving information about this, city police station in-charge Ranjit Singh reached the spot with the police team and took possession of the body and started further action in the case. City police station in-charge Ranjit Singh said that the deceased youth has been identified as Akash, resident of ward number 17, who used to work as a waiter. After this the police informed the relatives of the deceased. After receiving the information, the family members of the deceased youth Akash also reached the spot. The police have taken the body of the deceased in their custody and sent it for post-mortem. The deceased’s brother Ajay and uncle Rajaram told that Akash used to work as waiter management with them. At night he had gone to the market to buy some things from home but when he did not reach home, they searched a lot for him but could not find Akash. Today they got information that the dead body of a young man was lying on Fatehabad Road. After this, when they reached the spot, they saw that someone had murdered Akash. Family members told that a few days ago, Akash had a fight with some youth and they also threatened him. Due to this, they suspect that the said youth have murdered Akash. The family demanded the police administration to arrest Akash’s killer. In this regard, city police station in-charge Ranjit Singh said that investigation is being done on the basis of apprehensions of the family members and further action will be taken only after the post-mortem report comes. He said that no accused will be spared.
