Recently, the Election Commission had announced the date of assembly elections in Jharkhand including Maharashtra regarding the formation of a new government in the 81-member Jharkhand Legislative Assembly, which has suffered the brunt of political turmoil in the state for the last five years. In this regard, the date of assembly elections to be held in Jharkhand has been announced. Nominations started as soon as the election notification was released on Friday. In the first phase, elections will be held on 43 assembly seats. Candidates will be able to file nomination till 25th October. Except on holidays, the nomination process will start at 11 am and will continue till 3 pm.

In this regard, the Election Commission has also instructed all the candidates to follow the guidelines of the Election Commission. Scrutiny of nomination papers will be held on October 28. Candidates will be able to withdraw their names till October 30. In the first phase, voting on 43 assembly seats will be held on November 13. There itself
The second phase of voting will take place on November 20. Counting of votes will be done on all 81 assembly seats on November 23. The results are expected to be declared on the same day.

At the time of nomination to try your luck in Jharkhand Assembly, the security deposit amount is Rs 10,000 for general category, Rs 5000 for SC-ST.

General category candidates will have to deposit a security deposit of Rs 10,000. For SC/ST candidates this amount is Rs 5,000. Only 3 vehicles will be allowed within 100 meters of the enrollment site. Only 4 people including the candidate will be able to enter the nomination room. Candidates will have to submit a proposal signed by 10 persons.
Every candidate will have to fill Form 26. Details of criminal record will also have to be given in the affidavit. Its advertisement will have to be published 3 times in newspapers and social media. It is mandatory for all candidates to open a separate bank account for election expenses.

Here, with the issuance of notification by the Election Commission regarding the start of the voting process for the first phase, various political parties, especially the Bharatiya Janata Party and its allies and the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha and its allies, have almost reached a mutual agreement regarding the distribution of seats.
