Sensex recovered 815 points from the low level and closed at 81,224 with a rise of 218 points, Nifty recovered by 287 points.

Mumbai. Today, on Friday, October 18, the Sensex recovered 815 points from the day’s low of 80,409. After the day’s trading, it closed at the level of 81,224 with a gain of 218 points. Nifty also recovered 287 points from the day’s low of 24,567. Nifty also rose by 104 points, it closed at the level of 24,854. The metal and bank sectors of NSE were the fastest growing.

There was mixed trading in Asian markets

HDFC Bank, Axis Bank, ICICI Bank and Tata Motors led the market the most. Whereas, Infosys, Asian Paints and ITC pulled the market down.
In the Asian market, Japan’s Nikkei rose by 0.18 percent. Korea’s Kospi closed with a fall of 0.59 percent and China’s Shanghai Composite closed with a rise of 2.91 percent.
On October 17, America’s Dow Jones rose 0.37 percent to 43,239 and Nasdaq closed 0.036 percent to 18,373. The S&P 500 fell 0.017 percent to 5,841. According to NSE data, foreign investors sold shares worth ?7,421.40 crore on October 17. During this period, domestic investors bought shares worth Rs 4,979.83 crore.

Hyundai Motor India IPO subscribed 2.37 times

The IPO of Korean car manufacturer Hyundai Motor India was subscribed a total of 2.37 times on the last day. The issue was subscribed 0.50 times in the retail category, 6.97 times in the qualified institutional buyers category and 1.11 times in the non-institutional investors category.

There was a decline in the market yesterday

Earlier yesterday i.e. on October 17, the Sensex had fallen by 494 points and closed at the level of 81,006. Nifty also fell by 221 points, it closed at the level of 24,749. At the same time, small cap fell by 814 points and closed at the level of 56,589. Out of 30 Sensex stocks, 21 declined and 9 rose. Out of 50 Nifty stocks, 41 declined and 9 rose.
