Israel attacks Gaza, more than 30 people killed

Gaza, 19 October (HS). Terrorists are in despair after the killing of terrorist organization Hamas chief Yahya Sinwar in Gaza, which has been turned into a heap of debris due to Israeli attacks. Now Hamas is considering making someone living outside Gaza its leader. Meanwhile, more than 30 civilians were killed in Israeli air strikes near Nasr Junction.

Palestine’s official news agency WAFA reported the Nasr Junction attack this morning. According to Wafa, more than 30 civilians, including 20 children and women, were killed and more than 50 others were injured in an Israeli airstrike near Nasser Junction in the Jabaliya camp, north of the Gaza Strip. Israeli security forces bombed several houses near Nasser Junction in the north of the Gaza Strip.

According to Wafa, Israel’s attack on Gaza Strip is continuing from October 7, 2023. So far, 42,500 civilians have been killed and 99,546 others have been injured. Apart from this, two civilians were killed in Israeli bombardment of al-Maghazi camp in central Gaza. Apart from this, 64 civilians were killed in the attack on Gaza Strip on Friday morning. These include 45 people from Jabaliya camp.

Various media reports in Syria have said that after the killing of Hamas leader Yahya Sinwar in an Israeli attack, the terrorist organization is considering making someone living outside Gaza its leader. Now Yahya’s brother Mohammad Sinwar is expected to play a bigger role in the war against Israel. Khalil al-Hayya, an ally of Yahya Sinwar, is being seen as a possible successor.

Al-Hayya is currently Hamas’s chief negotiator. Apart from him, other contenders for leadership include Ismail Haniya’s predecessor Khaled Meshaal and Shura Council Chairman Mohammad Darwish. Within less than three months, two Hamas leaders have been killed. Ismail Haniya, who led Hamas for many years, was killed in Iran on July 31. After this, Yahya Sinwar, who took over the leadership of Hamas, was killed by Israeli soldiers on Wednesday. Sinwar combined both the military and political leadership in Gaza, but this seems unlikely this time. The Israeli army said Friday it killed two attackers who were trying to cross the border with Jordan into southern Israel.
