Sarfaraz showed dominance, scored the first century of his test career
IND vs NZ With the start of the fourth day’s play, an excellent century innings was seen from the bat of Indian team’s young player Sarfaraz Khan. When the third day’s play ended, Sarfaraz was unbeaten on 70 runs, while on the fourth day’s play, Rishabh Pant came to bat with him. Sarfaraz continued to bat in a positive manner and started scoring runs at a rapid pace, completing his first Test century in 110 balls. This is only the fourth match of Sarfaraz’s Test career and before this century, he had also played three half-century innings which came during the Test series played against England this year.

Rishabh Pant recovered from injury and scored a half-century
Rishabh Pant also batted brilliantly today. IND vs NZ Scored a half-century in the second innings. Pant got injured while keeping wickets on the second day and went out of the field. He made a comeback and was successful in scoring a fifty. Earlier, Virat Kohli (70 runs) was out on the last ball of the third day. He was caught by Glenn Phillips at the hands of wicketkeeper Tom Blundell. Rohit Sharma was out after scoring 52 runs and Yashasvi Jaiswal was out after scoring 35 runs. Ajaz Patel took 2 wickets and Glenn Phillips took 1 wicket. There was a partnership of 136 runs for the third wicket between Kohli and Sarfaraz.

Sarfaraz got a place in the team in place of Shubman Gill
