Priyanka (17), a class 11 student of Government Girls Senior Secondary School, Safidon in Jind district of Haryana, died suddenly due to dizziness in the prayer meeting. As soon as Priyanka’s health deteriorated, there was chaos in the school. The school administration immediately admitted him to the civil hospital in Safidon, where doctors declared him brought dead. In the preliminary investigation, the cause of death of the student is said to be low BP (blood pressure).
Priyanka, who was a resident of village Bahadurpur, had reached school on foot with her friends on Saturday like every day. During the prayer meeting she suddenly felt dizzy and fell unconscious. The school administration immediately took him to the hospital, but during treatment his BP continued to fall and he died.
School Principal Baljit Singh Lamba told that during the prayer meeting, Priyanka’s BP suddenly went low. The school staff tried to help him and was immediately taken to the hospital, but he could not be saved. He also told that Priyanka had felt dizzy a few times before, but she never informed the school administration about it.
Priyanka’s father Vijendra Kumar told that his daughter was very smart in studies and was liked by everyone in the family. He said that Priyanka was looking completely healthy and had left home for school smiling. The family is deeply saddened by his sudden death.
Priyanka’s family has 5 sisters and one brother, in which Priyanka was third. As soon as information about the incident was received, a large number of villagers from Bahadurpur village and Priyanka’s family members reached the hospital. The family members are in bad condition and crying.
