Netanyahu’s office acknowledged that a Lebanese drone hit a structure in the central city on Saturday. Immediately after this information, his residence in Caesarea was targeted by drones.
According to the news of Beirut’s leading newspaper L’Orient Today, no terrorist group has yet claimed responsibility for the attack. A UAV (unmanned aerial vehicle) was sent towards the prime minister’s residence in Caesarea, Netanyahu’s office said in a statement. Prime Minister Netanyahu and his wife Sara were not at home. No one was injured in this incident.
It is noteworthy that earlier this morning the Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) had warned in an ex-post that sirens were sounding in Haifa and southern Israel. It is being told that Netanyahu’s residence was targeted by drone from Lebanon. Three drones were sent to attack Israel. The IDF said that this morning Hezbollah fired 55 live ammunition at Haifa and northern Israel. Due to this, thousands of citizens had to take shelter in safe places.
Earlier on Friday, the Islamic Resistance’s operations room issued a statement announcing an escalation of the military confrontation with Israel, according to Hezbollah’s Al Manar TV. The statement said that the Israeli army has suffered heavy losses in the fighting. Since the beginning of the ground campaign near the Lebanon-Palestine border, the Israeli enemy has deployed five military divisions comprising more than 70,000 officers and soldiers along with hundreds of tanks and military vehicles. In contrast, hundreds of fighters of the Islamic resistance are ready to meet any Israeli ground incursion into the villages of southern Lebanon.
