Chandigarh. Air pollution is spreading rapidly in Delhi and surrounding districts. AQI levels have increased significantly in many places, due to which people are facing irritation in eyes and breathing problems. The Supreme Court had also reprimanded the Haryana government in the matter of stubble burning. On this, Naib Singh Saini’s government decided to take strict action against those who burn stubble.

Haryana’s Agriculture Department on Friday decided to take major action against farmers burning stubble. If any farmer is found burning stubble, an FIR will be registered against him. Red entries will be made in the agricultural records of farmers who burn stubble, so that they cannot sell their crops in the mandis through the e-procurement portal during the next two seasons.

Government took two important decisions

Let us tell you that after harvesting paddy, farmers burn stubble in their fields because they have to vacate the fields and sow wheat in it. In such a situation, the government has taken strict action to stop farmers from burning stubble. The Saini government has taken two important decisions regarding this.

CM Saini praised the farmers

Earlier, on stubble burning, CM Nayab Singh Saini said that the farmers of Haryana are aware and he congratulates them, because the Supreme Court has also praised them. If a farmer burns stubble, he will be considered first. The government is also providing equipment on subsidy. Farmers are very aware and they will not do anything like this.
