The ruling NDA and the opposition India block have announced their candidates for the Vice Presidential election. The NDA has fielded Maharashtra Governor and Senior BJP leader of Tamil Nadu, CP Radhakrishnan, while India Block, former Supreme Court judge and former Goa Lokayukta Justice (Retired) B.K. Sudarshan Reddy has been made his candidate. Meanwhile, another candidate’s name has been revealed. The name of this candidate is Raj Prakash.

Raj Prakash has filed nomination papers on Friday for the Vice Presidential election. He has filed nomination for the post of Vice President as an independent candidate. During this time, happiness was clearly visible on his face. In front of the authorities, saffron swab on the head and a large banner in hand. This banner also had his name and some pictures of him.
Vice Presidential election is on 9 September
The Vice President is scheduled to be held on 9 September. In this election, a tough fight is expected between the NDA and the INDIA coalition candidate. In such a situation, the names of many interesting candidates are coming out. One of them belongs to Independent candidate Raj Prakash.

The last date for investigation of nomination papers for the Vice President’s election is Friday i.e. August 22. The last date for withdrawal of nomination is 25 August. Voting will be held on September 9 from 10 am to 5 pm and the winner will be announced after the counting of votes on the same day.
