There are thousands of temples of Lord Ganesha in the country and abroad where many ancient statues are seated but there are some special temples in the country where the native is fulfilled and which is considered a miraculous temple. Let’s know brief information about such special 16 temples.

1. Dodital, Uttarakhand: Dodital in Uttarkashi district is considered to be the birth place of Ganesha. There is an ancient temple of Mata Annapurna where Ganesha is seated with his mother. Dodital, which is originally quite a long lake in the middle of Bugyal, was born of Ganesh.

2. Siddhi Vinayak Ganesh Temple Mumbai: The construction of this temple was completed on Thursday, 19 November 1801. Kaka Saheb Gadgil Marg and S.K. The temple is located on the corner of the Bole Marg. The siddhi and famous of the temple are so much that all are common or special, all are drawn at the rate of Bappa. Like the Siddhi Vinayaka temple in Maharashtra, the temple of Dagdu Seth Ganpati is also famous worldwide.

3. Moreshwar Temple, Morgaon (Maharashtra): Ashta Vinayak Temple in Maharashtra is also considered a miraculous temple. The first and major temple of this is the Moreshwar Temple. This temple is dedicated to Chaturbhuj Ganapati and is considered to be ancient holy pilgrimage center.

4. Shri Bateshwar Ganpati Temple, Pali (Maharashtra): It is one of the eight temples in the temple and it is also a miraculous and holy temple. This temple is associated with the story of a devotee named Ballal.

5. Chintaman Ganapati Ujjain: The oldest temple of Lord Ganesha is located in village Jawasya, about 6 km from the Mahakaleshwar temple in Ujjain. It is known as Chintaman Ganesh. Three statues of Ganesha appear as soon as they enter the sanctum sanctorum. The first Chintaman, the second Ichman and the third Siddhivinayak. These are self -proclaimed idols. The temple of Bada Ganesh in Ujjain is also a miraculous temple.

6. Shyamakarna Vinayak, Ujjain (Madhya Pradesh): Apart from Chintaman, there is another Ganesh temple in Ujjain itself. Located in Kalabhairava and Mahakal region, this temple is considered important from astrological point of view. Here the Shyam Varna form of Ganesha is worshiped which is rare.

7. Khajrana Ganesh Temple, Indore: Like Chintaman Ganapati in Madhya Pradesh, Khajrana Ganesh Temple of Indore is also very famous. The 3 foot statue of Vakratund Shriganesh is seated with Riddhi-Siddhi, who is richly worshiped by law.

8. Rockfort High Pillayar Temple, Tamil Nadu: The high Pilliyar temple located at the top of the hill called Rock Fort in Tiruchirappalli (Trichy), Tamil Nadu, is considered very ancient. Here Ravana’s brother Vibhishana once attacked Lord Ganesha. Then Ganeshji appeared in his true form, then Vibhishana regretted seeing this and he had apologized, since then Ganesha is seated on this peak.

9. Karpag Vinayagar, Tamil Nadu: The statue of Lord Ganesha is located in a cave in the puppy of Madurai, Tamil Nadu. Here Ganeshji Karpag is worshiped under the name Vinayagar.

10. Kanipakam Vinayak Temple, Chittoor: The temple is located 75 km from the Tirupati temple in Chittor district of Andhra Pradesh. The devotees who come here for darshan take a dip in the holy water of the temple to wash their sins.

11. Mankula Vinayagar Temple, Puducherry: One of the oldest temples in India, this temple is believed that the statue of Lord Ganesha was thrown into the sea several times here, but it was reopened at the same place.

Madhur Mahaganapati Temple, Kerala: The Ganesh idol of this tenth century temple situated on the banks of the Madhuwahini River is neither made of clay nor the element of any stone is made from which element. 16. Mankula Vinayagar Temple, Puducherry: Located between the French colony, this temple is the center of both faith and tourism. There is a tradition of blessing elephants here.
