Gaming Parent company of platform Dream 11 is testing a new app-Dream Money to enter the Dream Sports Financial Service sector. This new business will be done under the dream suit finance brand. Sources associated with the case have given this information to PTI. Dream Sports has been a major company to facilitate money based online game in India. But after the government imposed a ban on all types of money based online money games, Dream 11 has also to close all its money-based games.
What will happen in the new business of Dream 11
A source associated with the case said, “Dream Money has been working under the pilot project for the last few months. The source said that the company has not currently introduced the platform. According to the information available on the Google Play Store, these apps will provide gold purchases starting from Rs 10 daily and the fixed deposit (FD) service starting from Rs 1000. This app has been released by a unit of Dream Sports, Dreamsuit.
Even after the ban, these businesses of the company are running as before
According to Dreamsuit’s website, Dreamsuit Finance will soon be offered to provide ‘uninterrupted financial services’. Dream Sports has discontinued its online money game, but these sports experience and travel platform dream set Go, Sports Ticket Related Services and Business Platform Fancode, Sports Development Unit Dream Game Studio and Non-Gold Sports Foundation continue to operate the Dream Sports Foundation.
Government told online money gaming a serious social problem
The Parliament passed the bill to ban all types of sports played with money and promote e-sports and online social gaming in Rajya Sabha on Thursday without any debate in the Rajya Sabha. The government insisted that online money gaming has become a serious social and public health problem, which is clearly negatively impacting the society. Also, the central government is emphasizing on promoting e-sports and social gaming and wants to establish India as a global center of sports development.
