Chance of light rain in Punjab-Chandigarh
Some places in Punjab and Haryana and Chandigarh received rain on Sunday. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department for Punjab, light to moderate rains are expected to receive at some places between August 25-28 and on 29 and 30 August. At the same time, heavy rains are expected to receive heavy rains at some places in Punjab between August 26 and August 29-30. As per the forecast for Haryana, light to moderate rains are expected to receive light to moderate rains at several places on August 25-26, some places on 27-28 August and on 29-30 August. According to the forecast of the Meteorological Department, heavy rainfall is expected at some places in Haryana on 25 and 26 August.

484 roads closed in Himachal Pradesh

According to officials, power supply and 95 water supply schemes have been disrupted from 941 transformers in the state. The local Meteorological Department has issued a ‘Yellow Alert’, expressing forecasts of heavy rains in different areas of seven districts of the state by 30 August.
