Dewald Brevis Six in 3rd ODI vs Aus: Australia defeated South Africa by 276 runs in the third and last ODI. However, despite this major victory, Australia lost the series 2–1. In this last match, South Africa’s batting flopped badly but Dewald Brevis once again showed how dangerous he is.

In the match played at McKay’s Great Barrier Reef Arena, Braves scored a stormy innings of 49 runs in 28 balls which included 2 fours and 5 skyscraper sixes. One of these sixs was such that he entertained the fans. In fact, during this six off by Brevis, the ball went out of the stadium and one audience first ran away with the ball and later tried to hide the ball.

The incident occurred in the 11th over of the innings, in which Xavier Bartlet was bowling and he put a ball to Brevis a lot on which Brevis put a bridge and drove the ball outside the stadium. As soon as the ball fell outside the stadium, a fan ran behind the ball and at first he was seen running away and then he stopped and then tried to hide the ball inside his shirt but when he came to know that he was on camera, he eventually returned the ball. The commentator was also surprised to see this full view.

Talking about this match, Australian captain Mitchell Marsh won the toss in the third ODI at McKay’s ground and selected the first batting after which Travis Head (142 runs on 103 balls), Mitchell Marsh (100 off 106 balls), and Cameron Green (118 on 55 balls) played a brilliant century. Not only this, for Australia, Alex Carry came to batting on number-4, who also hit an unbeaten 50 on 37 balls. On the basis of all these innings, Australia had hung 431 runs on the scoreboard, losing just 2 wickets in 50 overs.

After the Australian batsmen, the team’s 22 -year -old all -rounder Cooper Konoli rocked his bowling and took 5 wickets of the South Africa team for 22 runs in just 6 overs. He broke the back of the opposition team by taking the wickets of Tony de Jorji (33), Dewald Brevis (49), Vian Mulder (05), Corbin Bosch (17), and Keshav Maharaj (02). Apart from him, Xavier Bartlet and Sean Abbott took 2-2 wickets and Adam Jumpa took one wicket. The African team was able to play only 24.5 overs and was all out, scoring 155 runs. In this way Australia won the match by a big margin of 276 runs.
