10 more people in police radar

In the case of attack on CM, the police is keeping an eye on 10 people who were in touch with the accused Rajeshbhai through calls and chats. A police team in Rajkot prepared to record the statements of those 5 more people, whose data was taken from the mobile of the accused.

During public hearing, accused pulled CM’s hair, slaps

Delhi’s CM Rekha was attacked by a man during a public hearing at around 8.15 am on August 20. The accused pulled his hair and then slapped. The accused is Rajeshbhai Khimji, a resident of Rajkot in Gujarat, who was immediately arrested.

The accused has been sent on 5 days police remand. A case of attempt to murder has been registered against him. Rajesh is already registered in Gujarat, including 5 cases in Gujarat. However, he did not find any weapons during his arrest. Intelligence Bureau and Delhi Police Special Cell are questioning him.

The accused also did Reiki a day before the attack

Accused Rajeshbhai had done Reiki at the residence of CM Rekha Gupta at Shalimar Bagh before the attack. On August 19, the accused was shown in the CCTV cameras installed in the CM’s residence. In the CCTV footage, he was seen talking to someone on the phone. Then the phone was constantly seen recording outside the CM residence.

In another CCTV footage, he appeared sitting inside the office of the Chief Minister’s private residence and recording the video. Sources said that two videos of the public hearing program have also been found from the mobile phone of the accused.
