According to a new news from Britain, Pakistan batsman Haider Ali, who holds a record of playing 2 ODIs and 35 T20 Internationals, is investigating the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) in a criminal case. A girl has alleged that Hyder is harassing her- the police named it ‘Sex Offense’.
This case is of the days of Pakistan Shaheen’s recent Britain tour. When the Pakistan Cricket Board received the news of this inquiry, he himself suspended Hyder till the next decision. The result of the investigation will take further action accordingly. Hyder Ali was arrested by the police but released three days later. According to reports, the Manchester Police has given a clean chit to Hyder in its initial investigation but has asked to stay in Britain for a few more days.
