According to a new news from Britain, Pakistan batsman Haider Ali, who holds a record of playing 2 ODIs and 35 T20 Internationals, is investigating the Greater Manchester Police (GMP) in a criminal case. A girl has alleged that Hyder is harassing her- the police named it ‘Sex Offense’.

This case is of the days of Pakistan Shaheen’s recent Britain tour. When the Pakistan Cricket Board received the news of this inquiry, he himself suspended Hyder till the next decision. The result of the investigation will take further action accordingly. Hyder Ali was arrested by the police but released three days later. According to reports, the Manchester Police has given a clean chit to Hyder in its initial investigation but has asked to stay in Britain for a few more days.

By the way, this is not the first time that a person associated with a Pakistani cricketer or a team is stuck in a sex case in Britain. In 2013, the Pakistani team’s masters, Malang Ali were also sent back from the middle of the ICC Champions Trophy, after complaining of harassment for similar sex. A woman staff from the hotel in London where the team stayed, accused her of harassing them for sex. When the team management themselves investigated, it was found that the complaint against Malang was in power. Incidentally, he is the same Malang Ali who was accused of stealing cash and precious goods from a player’s room during the ICC Youth World Cup in Malaysia, five years ago.

As far as sex events related to Pakistani cricketers in Britain are concerned, one of the most controversial cricketers in Pakistan is a story related to Sarfaraz Nawaz. This story did not come in much discussion. The long stature fast bowler has played 55 Tests and 45 ODIs and he is very famous for a 9 -wicket performance in Melbourne against Australia in 1979.

Sarfaraz is very famous for speaking on the criticism of Pakistan cricket. Players and officials have been making serious allegations of match and spot fixing. Similarly, they have had a lot of habit of making unfounded allegations against the board and team players in electronic and print media. That is why the Pakistan Cricket Board has stopped their pension more than once.

Former captain Mushtaq Mohammad also wrote about Sarfaraz in his 2006 autobiography ‘Inside Out’ and has also mentioned that he was very famous for the fun and enjoyment of the Nightlife of the countries he went on tour with the Pakistan team. Often in the evening, he used to quietly disappear from his hotel room and returned close to the next morning. It was a quality that even then the team carrying the ground used to reach the bus first.

He was one of the few foreign players played regularly in county cricket. Played in two different rounds for Northamptonshire. The Pakistani fast bowler played the entire 12 seasons (out of three Tests) in England from 1969 to 1982 and took 511 first class and 224 ODI wickets. He was a useful tailor batsman and scored 3,212 runs in first class cricket, including 10 fifties. Limited scored 1,177 runs in over cricket. Along with him the team won the ODI Trophy at Lord’s in 1976 and 1980.

Even after the cricket career was over, he was often in the news for criticizing Pakistani cricket and his political opponents. An event, which has very little information out, is amazing. This was in September 1992. Then in Britain, he was accused of attacking a woman, imprisoning her and even stealing her clothes. This woman was none other than the famous dancer Azra Rauf. Sarfaraz met him at a party in Middlesex. She came there to perform. According to his habit, Sarfaraz immediately impressed him and both were seen talking a lot. Even Sarfaraz offered him to leave his house.

It was alleged that when she sat in her car, Sarfaraz took her to a flat in Chelsea instead of leaving her home. He threatened them there. After his release, Azra complained to the police but later the case loosened and he was released from Old Bailey after about a year. Azra neither testified nor came to court.

Sarfaraz performed three marriages, one of which was from the famous Pakistani film star Rani. His relationship with Rani was also in discussion for a long time. She met at a ceremony in Lahore and when Rani came to know that Sarfaraz lived and play in England, she sought help from her for her treatment in London as she was suffering from cancer.

Sarfaraz took him to London, arranged for his treatment and during this time he fell in love with him. Eventually, the two got married. This was Sarfaraz’s first and Queen’s third marriage. This relationship brought Sarfaraz closer to many famous film personalities. Even when Rani refused to work in Younis Malik’s film Sher Khan after marriage, he also sought help from Sarfaraz to persuade the queen. It was even offered that if the queen agreed, he would take Sarfaraz in the main role with her, but the queen did not change her decision. Rani died in 1992 after being with him nearly a decade.
