According to the authentic story of the Syamantak Mani related to the defect of seeing the moon Once, Nandkishore told the Sanatakumar that the blame that Lord Krishna had attached to the moon of Chauth, was away from the Siddhivinayak fast. Hearing this, Sanatakumars were surprised.

When he asked the story of Purnabrahm Shri Krishna, the story of stigma, Nandkishore said- Once, in the fear of Jarasandha, Shri Krishna started living in the middle of the sea in the middle of the sea. The name of this city is nowadays Dwarikapuri. Satrajit Yadav, who lives in Dwarikapuri, worshiped Suryanarayana. Then Lord Surya gave him a gem named Syamantak who gave him eight weight gold from his neck.

When Satrajit Yadav went into the society after getting Mani, Shri Krishna expressed his desire to get that gem. Satrajit gave that gem to Shri Krishna and gave it to his brother Prasenjit. One day the princely man went on a horse and went to hunting. There a lion killed him and took a gem. When Prasenjit did not return from hunting for several days, Satrajit was very sad. He thought, Shri Krishna must have killed him to get the gem. Therefore, without gathering any kind of information, he preached that Shri Krishna killed Prasenjit and snatched the Syamantak Mani. For the prevention of this folk-Ninda, Shri Krishna along with many people went to the forest to find Prasenjit. There, he got the signs of killing Prasenjit by the lion and killing the lion by bear.

While searching for the feet of the bear, he reached Jamwant’s cave and went inside the cave. There he saw that Jamwant’s daughter was playing with that gem. On seeing Shri Krishna, Jamwant agreed to war. The war broke out. Outside the cave, his companions of Shri Krishna waited for seven days. Then they returned to Dwarikapuri, knowing them, knowing them dead.

Here, Jamwant could not defeat Shri Krishna even after fought continuously for 21 days. Then he thought, it is not the avatar for which I got the boon of Ramchandra ji. On this confirmation, he married his daughter to Shri Krishna and gave Mani in dowry. When Shri Krishna came back with the gem, Satrajit was very ashamed of his actions. To get rid of this shame, he also married his daughter to Shri Krishna. Also Read: Shree Ganesh Utsav, a symbol of knowledge, prosperity and good fortune, know the importance of offering naivedya for ten days

After some time, Shri Krishna went to Indraprastha for some work. Then Shatdhanwa Yadav killed Satrajit with the opinion of Akrur and Ritu Verma and took Mani in his possession. When Shri Krishna got the news of Satrajit’s death, he immediately reached Dwarka. They agreed to snatch the gem by killing Shatdhanwa. Balaram was also ready to help in this work. Knowing this, Shatdhanwa gave to Mani Akrur and escaped himself. Shri Krishna chased him and killed him, but he could not find Mani. Balaram ji also reached there. Shri Krishna told him that Mani is not near it. Balaram ji did not believe. He disappointed and moved to Vidarbha.

On the return of Shri Krishna’s Dwarka, people insulted him heavy. Immediately the news spread that Shri Krishna also abandoned his brother in the greed of Syamantak Mani. Shri Krishna was immersed in mourning the insult received unprovoked that Narada ji suddenly came there. He told Shri Krishna ji- You saw the moon of Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi. That is why you have to be stigmatized in this way.

Shri Krishna asked- what has happened to the moon of Chauth, due to which man is tarnished by his philosophy? Then Narada ji said- Once Brahma ji fasted Ganesha on the day of Chaturthi. Ganesh ji appeared and asked to ask for the bride, then he asked that I should not be tempted to create the creation. As soon as Ganesh ji started walking as ‘Aastastu’, the moon ridiculed his bizarre personality. On this, Ganesha got angry and cursed the Moon that no one would want to see your face from today.

Ganesha went to his world after cursing and hid in the Kumudinis of Moon Mansarovar. Without the moon, creatures suffered a lot. Seeing his suffering, Ganesha, pleased with the fast of all the gods with the orders of Brahma ji, gave a boon that now the moon will be freed from the curse, but whoever will see the moon on Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi, he will definitely get a false situation of theft etc. But a person who continues to see every second, will avoid this stigma. Fasting Siddhivinayak on this Chaturthi will miss all the faults. Hearing this, the gods went to their respective places.

In this way, you have got this stigma by visiting the moon on Bhadrapada Shukla Chaturthi. Then Shri Krishna did this fast to get rid of stigma.

In the battle of Kurukshetra, Yudhishthira asked Lord Krishna- God! What is the way of accomplishment of human beings? How can a person achieve wealth, son, good luck and victory? Hearing this, Shri Krishna replied- If you worship Parvati’s son Shri Ganesh in a systematic way, you will surely get everything. Then by the orders of Shri Krishna, Yudhishthira ji won the war of Mahabharata by fast on Ganesh Chaturthi.

On this day, along with the story above, the following mantra should also be chanting-
