On Tuesday, at least four people are reported to have been killed in Doda district. Three of these people slipped and fell into the river and drowned in the water with strong current, while one died due to collapse.

There are reports of a lot of damage in the altitude areas of Kishtwar, Reasi, Rajouri, Ramban and Poonch districts of Jammu. CM Omar Abdullah described the situation as serious and he presided over an emergency meeting and ordered the district administrators to stay on high alert.
