Uttar Pradesh News Desk: The thief who entered Baroda UP Bank in Maharajganj town with the intention of stealing had taken a loan from the same bank a week ago. His intention changed after seeing the bundle of notes kept with the bank cashier. The thief decided to steal the bank at that very moment. For this he did recce in the bank for several days. Late at night he broke into the bank by cutting the window grill. Unfortunately, people nearby saw him and surrounded the bank.
It is noteworthy that Baroda UP Bank is located in Maharajganj town. On the night of 1917, a thief entered inside by cutting the grill of the window with the intention of stealing. The bank guard saw the thief’s act and raised an alarm. According to people, Ramlaut who entered the bank is not a professional thief. Due to his greed for money, he planned to steal the bank. Before this, two cases were registered against him in Haraiya police station for selling liquor. It is said that Ramlaut, who was caught by the police, had taken a loan from the same bank a week ago. He used to go to the bank continuously for money transactions. While taking the loan, his confidence was shaken after seeing the bundles of notes kept with the cashier. He planned to steal from the bank. During police interrogation, Ramlot told that he had done recce for several days to enter the bank. Ramlot had closely examined the pattern and timing of police patrolling. The accused told that he did not know that while entering by cutting the window, the guard would come on duty and would create noise. He had also parked his bicycle behind a shop at a short distance from the bank. According to Inspector-in-charge Deepak Dubey, a case has been registered under serious sections against Ramlaut resident Khemrajpur police station Haraiya on the complaint of bank branch cashier Radheshyam Choudhary.
Inspector in charge will reward the guard
The police will honor the guard Jagdish, who took action after seeing the thief while entering to steal, by giving him a cash prize to encourage him. Inspector in-charge Kaptanganj Deepak Dubey said that Jagdish had raised an alarm after seeing the suspect entering through the window. The incident was saved only due to the activeness of the guard. The guard is from Pakolia area, he will be called to the police station to honour.
