Attackers shot a person in Godda, Jharkhand, condition critical
Godda, 6 November (IANS). A person was shot publicly in Godda, Jharkhand. This incident happened in front of Triveni Hotel at Siddho Kanhu Chowk on Tuesday evening. Unidentified assailants fired about four rounds at Dakota resident John Kisku. Due to this he was seriously injured. After the incident, he was immediately taken to Mahagama, from where doctors referred him to the District Hospital, Godda. The condition of the injured is said to be serious.
John Kisku was returning home from Lalmatia weekly market with his wife when someone called him and he stopped in front of Triveni Hotel and started talking. Meanwhile, two masked attackers came on a white bike and started firing at John. The attackers fired about four rounds and then fled towards Peerpainti. Police have found three shells from the incident site and the police are investigating after reaching the incident site.
Preliminary investigation has revealed that this incident is the result of old enmity. John Kisku’s elder brother Clasting has already been murdered in Sahibganj and younger brother Claude has been absconding for a long time in many serious cases. However, John was currently living a normal life and had left the dacoit’s ancestral house and was living in a new house at another place.
Giving information about the incident, an official said, on Tuesday evening a man was coming from Hatia with his wife. At the same time, unknown miscreants riding a white motorcycle shot him from behind, in which he got injured. He was brought to the hospital, from where he was first referred to Sadar Hospital and now he has been referred to Bhagalpur. The police is trying to catch the criminals.
After collecting evidence from the incident site, the police are also taking statements of the relatives of the injured. Prima facie the matter of old enmity is coming to light in the case. However, the police is investigating the matter from every aspect.
