This competition was organized by All India Universities Association from 30 October to 3 November at Chitkara University, Chandigarh. In this competition, the first match of the team of Himachal Pradesh Central University was with the team of Indira Gandhi University, Mirpur, Haryana, in which the team of Central University of Himachal Pradesh was victorious 3-0. The team’s second match was against Punjab Agricultural University, Ludhiana. In this match also, the team of Central University of Himachal Pradesh won 3-0 and with this the team entered the quarter finals.
The team’s quarter-final match was with Tehri Garhwal University, Uttarakhand, in which the team of Central University of Himachal Pradesh lost 2-3.
Sports Officer of Himachal Pradesh Central University Sapt Sindhu Campus Dehra and manager of the team Prof. Sanjit Singh Thakur said that the team of Central University of Himachal Pradesh performed brilliantly and made its place in the quarter final match and after achieving one-sided victory in two matches, the team lost 2-3 in the quarter final after facing a tough fight. Team captain Divyansh Sharma performed brilliantly in all the matches and won all his matches. Due to Divyansh’s brilliant performance, Divyansh got selected for the All India University Badminton Championship. On this success, Vice Chancellor of Central University, Prof. Sat Prakash Bansal has congratulated the team for its excellent performance.
