Good news has come for employees and teachers, now there is a change in transfer rules along with a big decision on payment of gratuity.
Under the Employees Pension Scheme 1995, about 97,640 pensioners are going to get higher pension. Pension payment orders have been issued for approximately 8,401 pensioners and there are 89,235 pensioners who have received demand notices. The benefit of higher pension will be available to those who were considered eligible for higher pension as per the decision of the Supreme Court in November 2022. ,

On choosing the higher pension option, employees contribute to the pension fund on the basis of their actual salary in their pension scheme. After the Supreme Court’s decision of November 2022, Yogi employees were allowed to choose their options. Employees who were members of EPF till September 1, 2014 can opt for the higher pension option. Demand letters were sent to those who selected the option. And their PPF fund is being released. Higher pension PPO of about 8000 pensioners has been issued. And the rest are likely to be released soon.

To know whether you will get higher pension or not, if you get it then how much you will get, you can find out by following these steps. Which we have told you below-
First of all you will have to go to Member Seva portal in Google or you can directly go to this website. https://unifiedportal-mem.epfindia.gov.in/memberInterface
After that you will have to click on the first option ‘Track Application Status For Pension on Higher wages’ in the Important Link.
After that a new page will open in front of you. Now you have to click on ‘Track Status of EPS Higher Pension Applications’.
In the next page enter the following information: Acknowledgment Number, UAN, PPO Number and Captcha Code
Click on the check box to allow Aadhaar based verification.
Click on Get OTP and verify your identity by entering the OTP.
After that you will be able to see what your status is.
