Skoda Kylaq price Rs 7.89 lakh: Launch on 2 December
Skoda Kylaq Price & Launch Date: It’s finally here! After several teasers, Skoda has unveiled its Kylaq compact SUV. It is a specially developed sub-four-metre vehicle keeping the Indian market in mind. The car will be officially launched in India on December 2 and Skoda has announced that the base variant will be priced at Rs 7.89 lakh. Booking will start from December 2, 2024. It is offered in six color options including Lava Blue, Tornado Red, Carbon Steel, Brilliant Silver and Candy White along with the new Olive Gold and the deliveries will start from January 27, 2025.
As expected, the Kylaq looks like a mini Kushaq with the face and rear end being exactly the same. In profile, you can see a shorter length than the Kushaq to comply with the rules of the sub-four SUV game. 17 inch alloy wheels are also available in it.
Interior highlights include dual digital screens, powered driver seat, leatherette upholstery, connected car technology, ambient lighting and a six-speaker Canton sound system. All variants of the Kylaq will get six airbags, ABS with EBD, traction control program and ISOFIX child seat mounting points, headrests and three-point seatbelts for all occupants.
The length of this compact SUV is 3.95 meters and wheelbase is 2.56 meters. Apart from this, it has a ground clearance of 189mm. Boot capacity is 446 liters of boot, and with the seats down, it is 1,265 litres.
The Kylaq will be offered with Skoda’s 1.0-litre TSI petrol that will produce 114bhp and 178Nm. This engine can be had with six-speed MT or six-speed AT. We’ve driven a pre-production model of the car and you can check out our video below.
This is a very important car for Skoda as it will bring them back at a price below Rs. 10 lakh price range after almost a decade.
