Due to this problem consumers are facing problems.
Consumers of Bihar can recharge their smart meters by visiting the bill deposit counter of the electricity company. Apart from this, recharge facility is also available on South Bihar’s website and Suvidha App. Consumers can also recharge through private agency Orange Pay. But most of the consumers use Bihar Bijli Smart Meter App, which is currently closed, due to which consumers are facing more difficulty.
How can consumers do average recharge?
Due to smart meter server being down, consumers are not getting information about their electricity consumption on any app. In such a situation, consumers can recharge based on their average electricity consumption. They should recharge a little less amount than in summer so that they do not face the burden of sudden electricity bill. By recharging in this way, consumers will be able to easily pay their electricity bills and will not feel much financial pressure.
When will the app problem be resolved?
No official of the electricity company has yet told when the Bihar Electricity Smart Meter App will be activated. There is no information available as to when the server will be restored. Consumers are currently being advised to recharge through other available options.
