If you too have brought Bapa to your house, but you do not have time to make Ukadeche modak, then you can make a modak of gram flour instead. It does not take time to make it and this recipe is ready in minutes. So let’s know how to make gram flour modak?

Ingredients for Besan Modak:

One cup gram flour, half a cup of semolina, one and a half cup milk, one teaspoon milk, one cup of sugar, three teaspoons dry coconut, two to three elachai, some pistachios pieces

How to make gram flour modak?

  • First step: To make a modak of gram flour, first of all, turn on a cup of gram flour and fry it well. After roasting the gram flour, you also fry the semolina well. Besan and semolina have to be roasted until the fragrance on low heat. When the semolina is roasted, mix both of them together. Grind cashews, almonds and pistachios and cardamom in roasted dough.

  • Second step: Heat one and a half cup of milk to create a thick and creamy base. When the milk is hot, add three teaspoons of dry coconut and boil the milk with a well dried coconut.

  • Third step: Now add the mixture of the roasted gram flour to the mixture gently in piles and mix well. Keep in mind that there should be no lump in it. When it becomes light cold, knead the dough without lump. For the best thickness and glow, now add only 1 teaspoon of ghee to this mixture. Your modak mixture is ready. Now easily shape the mixture with the help of a mold.
