Delhi News Desk!!! The festival of Chhath Puja is being celebrated in Bihar, Jharkhand, Eastern Uttar Pradesh. Today is the third day of Chhath Puja and Arghya will be offered to the setting sun this evening. In such a situation, there will be traffic diversion for Chhath Puja in Ghaziabad today and tomorrow. Traffic diversion will be in force today from the afternoon of 7th November till the end of puja at around 8 pm and from 3 am to 9 am on 8th November. Ghaziabad Police has appealed to the people for cooperation so that people can celebrate the festival without any hindrance. Please note that the road leading to Hindon Bridge will remain closed. The sound of vehicles will also be controlled by this police. Therefore, the police department has asked not to travel on these bridges for 2 days and adopt alternative routes.

3 parking lots have been created on both sides of the river

Let us tell you that the main puja ritual of Chhath Puja in Ghaziabad is performed on both the banks of Hindon River near the overbridge on GT Road. Therefore, the Ghaziabad administration has beautified both the banks of Hindon River for November 7 and 8. Therefore, there will be no noise from both private and commercial vehicles on the Grand Trunk Road. Additional Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) Piyush Kumar Singh has issued the orders. According to the order, there will be 3 major parking lots on the banks of Hindon River, where pilgrims can park their two-wheelers. 2 parking lots have been created at Hindon Crematorium and Indira Priyadarshini Park on either side of the Hindon River. The third parking has been made near Haj House. All these roads will remain closed for private vehicles

According to media reports, the road leading to DPS Siddharth Vihar on the new link road will be closed for private cars and two-wheelers. Four-wheelers will also be banned on the route from Meerut Tiraha Road towards Hindon Bridge. People coming from both these roads will go to National Highway-9 via New Link Road to Jal Nigam Office T-Point. The road leading from Mohannagar to Hindon Bridge will also remain closed. People coming from this road will leave from Karhera via Nagdwar, Rajnagar Extension. Vehicles going from Kanavani towards Hindon Bridge will also use Vasundhara Road.

There will also be a ban on the sound of commercial vehicles here

According to media reports, the road leading from New Link Road, DPS Siddharth Vihar, New Bus Stand, Meerut Tiraha towards Hindon Bridge will remain closed for all commercial vehicles, but these vehicles can go from Mohannagar towards Hindon Bridge. You can also travel from Mohannagar via Link Road via Uttar Pradesh Gate and National Highway-9. Kanawani to Hindon bridge road, Hapur Chungi to Rajnagar extension road will also remain closed. Hence, commercial vehicles coming from Meerut will take a turn at ALT intersection on Mohannagar-Seemapuri road via Meerut Tiraha Road. -You can also go from Hapur Chungi via Diamond Flyover. The route from Hindon Air Force roundabout towards Nagdwar-Karhera will remain closed for commercial vehicles coming on Bhopura Tiraha Road. These vehicles will be able to go from Air Force Roundabout to Mohannagar, Mohan Meekins U-turn via Link Road till Uttar Pradesh Gate.
