New York, November 7 (IANS). President Joe Biden has congratulated Donald Trump on winning the presidential election. Also assured that the transfer of power will happen in a smooth manner.
“President Joe Biden expressed his commitment to ensuring a smooth transition and emphasized the importance of working to bring the country together,” the White House said in a brief statement Wednesday.
Trump spokesman Steven Cheung acknowledged the call and said, “President Trump looks forward to this meeting, which will take place shortly, and he very much appreciated the call”.
Let us tell you that when Joe Biden was elected in 2020, Trump did not even attend the swearing-in ceremony.
Trump launched a brutal attack on Joe Biden during his campaign, nicknaming him “Sleepy Joe” and calling him a “weak man.”

Amazon founder Jeff Bezos said, “No country has a greater opportunity. We wish Trump every success in leading and uniting the America we all love.”
Billionaire entrepreneur Mark Cuban has endorsed Vice President Kamala Harris and attacked Trump, saying he can’t stand “strong women.” He was among the first people to congratulate Trump.
He wrote on X, “Congratulations you won with all honesty.”
