New Delhi, 07 November (Hindustan Reporter). There is a downward trend in both the major indices of the stock market, Sensex and Nifty, in the initial trading today on the fourth day of the week. Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE) Sensex is trading at 79,547.48, down 830.66 points or 1.03 percent. Similarly, Nifty of National Stock Exchange (NSE) is also trending at the level of 24,228.60 with a decline of 255.45 points or 1.04 percent.
Out of 30 Sensex shares, 21 shares are declining and 9 shares are rising. At the same time, out of 50 stocks of Nifty, 35 are showing decline and 15 are seeing rise. Banking, auto and metal sectors of NSE are currently trading with losses. However, Sensex started trading with a gain of 185 points at 80,563, while Nifty opened with a gain of 10 points.
Mixed business is also being seen in the Asian market. Japan’s Nikkei is down 0.40 percent. At the same time, Korea’s Kospi is trading with a rise of 0.18 percent and China’s Shanghai Composite is trading with a rise of 0.79 percent.
It is noteworthy that a day earlier on Wednesday, the Sensex had closed at the level of 80,378 with a rise of 901 points or 1.13 percent. Similarly, NSE’s Nifty closed at the level of 24,484 with a rise of 270 points or 1.12 percent.
