Rajsharan Shahi became the national president of ABVP for the third time, Virendra Singh Solanki became the national general secretary.
Lucknow, 7 November (Hindustan Reporter). Rajsharan Shahi, Professor of the Department of Education at Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar Central University, located in the capital Lucknow, has been elected National President of Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad for the third time. Dr. Virendra Singh Solanki of Indore has been elected as National General Secretary.
This was announced after a meeting on Thursday at ABVP’s central office in Mumbai.
It is noteworthy that the 70th national convention of ABVP is being organized at Pt. Deendayal Upadhyay Gorakhpur University from 22 to 24 November. The Bhoomi Pujan of the convention site will be performed by Ramesh, the state campaigner of Goraksh province of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh, on 08 November. There is a tradition of electing the President and General Secretary before the national convention. Prof. Shahi has been elected to the post of President for the third consecutive time. Pro. Shahi has been associated with ABVP since his student days. He has been Gorakhpur Metropolitan President to Gorakhpur Provincial President. On his re-election, ABVP’s Area Organization Minister Ghanshyam Shahi, Gorakhpur’s Provincial Organization Minister Baba Hardev, Kashi’s Provincial Organization Minister Abhilash, Awadh’s Provincial Organization Minister Anshul and Braj’s Organization Minister Anshul Srivastava have congratulated him.
