Akshay Oberoi describes the sets of Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari as a “fun joint family experience”
Actor Akshay Oberoi, who is currently shooting for the much-awaited romantic-comedy Sunny Sanskari Ki Tulsi Kumari, has revealed about the lively atmosphere on the sets. Filming in the beautiful locations of Jaipur and Jodhpur in Rajasthan, Akshay is working with a stellar cast that includes Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sanya Malhotra, Rohit Saraf and Manish Paul. Produced by Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta under Dharma Productions and directed by Shashank Khaitan, the film has described the set as a “big, fun joint family”. Akshay credits his director Shashank Khaitan for fostering such a positive environment on the sets. Shashank brings together people who are cheerful and caring, creating an environment where everyone feels special. Akshay believes that the warmth and unity of the team comes from Shashank’s friendly, inclusive approach.
Talking about his experience on the sets, Akshay shared, “Working on Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari has been truly a unique experience. It feels less like a film set and more like being part of a big, fun joint family and all credit goes to Shashank for that. We eat together, talk, joke and even work out together. The energy is so positive and collaborative, which makes being on set for long periods of time truly enjoyable. Be it eating food between shots or sharing fitness tips with Varun and others, there is this great sense of camaraderie that makes the whole experience feel special. I have been in Rajasthan for quite some time now, and being surrounded by such talented and fun co-stars like Varun, Janhvi, Sanya, Rohit and Manish under the expert direction of Shashank has been nothing short of amazing. I am grateful to Karan Johar and Apoorva Mehta for bringing us all together for this project – it is an amazing film in the making, and I am sure the audience will feel the same joy that we are experiencing on the set. “
Sunny Sanskari’s Tulsi Kumari is all set for an exciting addition to the lineup of Dharma Productions with a fresh take on romance and comedy. Akshay Oberoi’s enthusiasm towards the project and the strong bond between the cast promises a film that will not only be fun to make but will also be a treat to the audience upon release.
