According to ACP Cyber Crime Abhinav, the arrested gang leader Subhendra Tiwari is a resident of Bilgram Hardoi. He was running a fraud call center for about six months. He had employed the girls on the post of telecaller at the rate of eight to 10 thousand rupees per month. Naukri.com and Monister and other sites on which the unemployed used to post their resumes. He used to get the mobile number from him and make the girls call him. Girls used to take unemployed people on line. After this, she used to get the gang leader to talk to Subhendra.
He used to deceive the unemployed by speaking fluent English. After this, he used to charge Rs 30-40 thousand or more per person for registration, medical and other items. In this way lakhs of rupees have been defrauded. Used to transfer money to the account and through the app. Some amount has been frozen in the accounts of the accused. The police team is interrogating the accused Subhendra and gathering other information regarding the gang.
After 11 months, Subhendra was arrested again in the fraud case from Indira Nagar. According to the police, about one and a half years ago, STF had opened a call center in Indira Nagar and arrested Subhendra in the fraud case. He was released from jail only 11 months ago. Then the surveillance cell from Indiranagar has arrested him in the fraud case itself. Even before this, he used to cheat the unemployed by opening a call centre.
