2 more accused arrested in Baba Siddiqui murder case from Pune
Mumbai Mumbai Police on Thursday arrested two more accused from Pune in the former minister Baba Siddiqui murder case. Both these accused are accused of being in contact with Praveen Lonkar, an accused in this case, and both are also accused of allegedly providing around 30 pistol bullets to the shooters. According to the police, Mumbai Crime Branch has (on Thursday) arrested two more suspects Aditya Gudankar and Rafiq Shaikh from Pune in the murder case of former Maharashtra minister Baba Siddiqui. Also, the total number of accused arrested so far in this case has reached 18. Earlier on Wednesday, Mumbai Crime Branch had arrested Gaurav Appune (23) from Pune. During the investigation, the police came to know that Gaurav had met other accused several times to plan the murder of Baba Siddiqui. Both the suspects, residents of Pune, have been arrested in Pune. It is being told that both the arrested suspects were in contact with accused Praveen Lonkar, who allegedly provided them about 30 pistol bullets. The suspects have been brought to Mumbai and will be produced in court. Let us tell you that former minister Baba Siddiqui was shot dead on October 12. In this case, Mumbai Police has so far arrested 18 accused, while Mumbai Police has issued a lookout circular notice against three wanted accused. Mumbai Police is investigating the matter thoroughly.
