Mumbai Police has increased the security of Salman Khan following several threats to the actor. Last month NCP leader Baba Siddique was shot dead allegedly by Lawrence Bishnoi shooters in Mumbai. Siddique was known to be close to Khan.

Mumbai: Police have received another treat against actor Salman Khan. In a message at Mumbai Traffic Police’s control room, the sender warned the writer of a song where gangster has been mentioned along with the actor.

In his message, the sender talks about a song on Lawrence Bishnoi. Sender said the writer of the song will face consequences within a month.

“The writer of the song will be killed within a month. If Salman Khan has courage, he should try and save him. Forget about writing songs on others, the song writer’s condition will be made such that he won’t be able to write about himself,” reads the message.

This is not the first time that the Bollywood ace actor has received anonymous threats. In connection with similar threats earlier, police have made multiple arrest. A 32-year-old man from was apprehended in Rajasthan and was handed over to Maharashtra Police on Wednesday. The arrested person has been identified as Bhikha Ram, a resident of Jalore in Rajasthan.

Police probing death threats to Shah Rukh Khan

Mumbai police are currently investigation another similar death threat to actor Shah Rukh Khan. The cops had lodged an extortion case and summoned a lawyer from Chhattisgarh in connection with this case where the actor was issued death threats and the sender demanded Rs 50 lakh.

As per multiple media reports, the threat call was made from a number registered on this lawyer’s name. The lawyer has reportedly told the police that he lost his phone last week and had filed a police complaint.

A case was lodged by the Bandra police under sections 308(4) (extortion involving threats of death or serious injury) and 351(3)(4) (criminal intimidation) of Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) against the alleged caller.
