Special feature of Google Pixel will be available in OnePlus 13, thief will himself get trapped by stealing the phone

OnePlus 13 is ready to hit the global market including India soon. This phone has recently been launched in the Chinese market. The thief himself is going to regret stealing this smartphone equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor. It is going to get anti-theft protection like Google Pixel smartphone. Google has recently added this feature to its Pixel devices. The company is going to provide a built-in feature of offline tracking of Find My Device in the upcoming phones of OnePlus.

Anti-Theft Detection

Last month, OnePlus released the open beta update of OxygenOS 15 for its flagship smartphone OnePlus 12 launched this year. In the beta update, users get a notification when they switch off the phone that the phone can be tracked even offline. However, this feature has been removed in the stable version of OxygenOS 15. A company official told Android Authority that the OnePlus 12 does not have hardware for offline device tracking.

OnePlus 12 has the flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 processor, which supports AI features. However, this processor does not support offline device tracking. Qualcomm has added this FastConnect 7900 hardware to the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, due to which offline tracking will be possible in phones launched with this processor.

Features of OnePlus 13

Talking about the recently launched OnePlus 13, this phone comes with a 6.82 inch 2K+ AMOLED display. The phone’s display has a peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits. This phone works on Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Elite processor, with which it supports 24GB RAM and up to 1TB internal storage. This phone works on a powerful battery of 6,000mAh, with which 100W SuperVOOC fast charging feature is provided. Besides, it also has 50W wireless fast charging feature.

The company has given triple camera setup in this phone of OnePlus. It will have 50MP Sony LYT-808 main OIS camera. With this, 50MP ultra wide and 50MP periscope camera will be available. The phone will have a 32MP camera for selfies and video calling. This phone is IP68+ rated, due to which the phone does not get damaged by getting wet in water or dust. The starting price of 12GB RAM + 256GB variant of OnePlus 13 is CNY 4,499 i.e. approximately Rs 53,150.
