Maruti Suzuki Brezza has topped the compact SUV sales list in October 2024, beating rivals like the Forex, Tata Punch and Tata Nexon.
Maruti Suzuki Brezza retained its position as the best-selling compact SUV in October 2024. It sold 16,565 units last month, which is a marginal increase of 3 percent year-on-year compared to 16,050 units sold in October 2023. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki continued its impressive run with total sales of 16,419 units.
Whereas in October 2023, 11,357 units were sold, which is a significant increase of 45 percent on an annual basis. Which secured its position as the second best selling compact SUV for the month. Whereas Tata Punch sold 15,740 units, which shows an annual growth of 3 percent as compared to 15,317 units sold in October last year.
Tata Nexon took the fourth position with 14,759 units in October 2024, despite a 13 per cent decline in sales. Whereas in the same period last year, 16,887 units were sold. Hyundai Venue took the fifth position with 10,901 units, a decline of 6 per cent year-on-year compared to 11,581 units sold in October 2023.

Thus, its sales have increased by 97 percent year-on-year, as a total of 4,865 units were sold during the same period twelve months ago. The Hyundai Xcent was the eighth best-selling compact SUV in India last month as it sold 7,127 units as against 8,097 units in October 2023, a decline of 12 per cent year-on-year.
The Nissan Magnite and Toyota Urban Cruiser Taser stood ninth and tenth respectively. Nissan Magnite has registered domestic sales of 3,119 units as against 2,573 units, a YoY growth of 21 per cent, while Tasar has sold a total of 3,092 units.
