Former Indian cricketer and chief selector Krishnamachari Srikanth has given a big statement after watching the Asia Cup team. They believe that Team India with this team T20 World Cup Can not win. Srikanth says that Team India may win the continental tournament with these players, but India will not be able to win the World Cup in 2026.
He also criticized the selection process and questioned the argument behind the batting order and some players in the team. Srikanth said on his YouTube channel, “We can win the Asia Cup with this team, but there is no possibility of winning the T20 World Cup with this team. Will you take this team to the World Cup? Is it a T20 World Cup preparation, which is barely six months away?”
Srikanth also questioned the inclusion of Rinku Singh, Shivam Dubey and Harshit Rana and said, “They have gone back. Akshar Patel has been removed from the vice-captain.
Srikanth asked, “Who will bat at number five? At number five, Sanju Samson, Jitesh Sharma, Shivam Dubey or Rinku Singh should be one of the one. Hardik Pandya usually bat at number five, so now the letters can’t bat on the sixth number. I do not understand how he chose Dubey.
