E10 shinkansen series: next generation train for India

The E10 series will be operational in Japan from 2030. Till then E5 and E3 trains will be temporarily used. When the service starts in 2027 in India, the E5 train will run on this route. Prime Minister Modi will also visit the factory in Japan where the E10 train is being constructed. Prime Minister Modi and the current Prime Minister of Japan Shigeru Ishiba can also consider other bullet train projects in India. In 2009, the Government of India identified five other high-speed corridors including Pune-Ahmedabad and Delhi-Amritsar (Chandigarh).
