Drunk man takes Thar SUV onto railway tracks in Jaipur to make reel, narrowly escapes train collision; held | Crime News
According to reports, the man, allegedly under the influence of alcohol, drove his SUV onto the railway line with for shooting a reel. However, the car got stuck when he attempted to reverse off the tracks upon noticing an approaching goods train. Fortunately, the train’s driver managed to halt the train in time, preventing any casualties.

New Delhi: A man was arrested on Monday in Jaipur after he drove his Mahindra Thar SUV onto a railway track, reportedly to film a social media reel. A video of the incident went viral on social media. The video shows the man trying to reverse his vehicle off the tracks as bystanders and police officers looked on.

Driver hit three people while escaping
According to an NDTV report, some locals also helped the man pull the car back onto the road, after which he quickly reversed for about 20-30 metres and fleed the scene. During his escape, he reportedly hit and injured three people. Police officers eventually caught hold of the driver, they also seized the vehicle.
This incident is the latest in a series of reckless acts involving individuals risking their lives to film social media content on railway tracks. Authorities across India have raised concerns, as many have been injured or killed while filming videos in dangerous locations.
In August, a similar incident in Kanpur, Uttar Pradesh, resulted in the death of a woman and critical injuries to her daughter when a speeding car driven by a minor struck their scooty during an attempted stunt. In July, two individuals died in Nagpur, Maharashtra, after their speeding car crashed into a barrier while being recorded by a fellow passenger.
