Gujarat: Fire breaks out in Paschim Express train between Bharuch and Ankleshwar due to short circuit
Ankleshwar. A sudden fire broke out in a train between Bharuch and Ankleshwar in Gujarat. This fire broke out due to short circuit in the second coach of Paschim Express. Seeing the smoke coming out of the train, the passengers quickly got off the train and saved their lives. On receiving information about the incident, the fire brigade and police reached the spot and controlled the fire. However, no passengers were injured in the incident. The train, which was traveling from Mumbai Central to Amritsar, was stopped between Ankleshwar and Bharuch from 17:03 to 17:35. After this, the train was taken to the loop line in Bharuch and checked. It is a matter of relief that there was no major damage in this incident and all the passengers remained safe.
Railway official said that the GS coach (second from the engine) of Mumbai Central-Amritsar Western Express had caught fire. Due to this, the train was stopped between Ankleshwar-Bharuch stations from 17:03 – 17.35 pm. Railway official said that the reasons behind the fire have not been confirmed yet. However, at first sight it seems to be a case of short circuit. Officials have been ordered to investigate.
