Jhansi: A snake bit a passenger in a train going from Jhansi to Delhi, a stampede broke out.

Jhansi. A young man traveling from Jhansi to Delhi was bitten by a snake in the general coach. After this there was a stampede in the entire coach. When the train stopped at Gwalior, the passenger was sent to the hospital for treatment. 30 year old Bhagwandas, resident of Tikamgarh, Madhya Pradesh, had reached Jhansi on Sunday night by Khajuraho-Jhansi MEMU to go to Delhi. From here he had to catch another train to Delhi. On Sunday, when the Dadar-Amritsar Express reached Jhansi with a delay of 15 minutes at 8.35 pm, Bhagwandas boarded the general coach of the train.

Due to the large crowd in the train, he stood behind the door. After this, when the train was running between Dabra-Gwalior at 10 pm, he was bitten by a snake. Hearing the scream of Bhagwandas, as soon as the eyes of other passengers fell on the snake, everyone in the coach started running here and there to save their lives.

Meanwhile, a passenger called the railway helpline number 139 and informed the railway administration about the incident and sought help for the passenger. When the train reached Gwalior at 10.30, the RPF took Bhagwandas off the train and sent him by ambulance to the Medical College, where Bhagwandas is being treated. In this matter, PRO Manoj Kumar Singh said that such snakes do not come out in the train, it is a conspiracy of some anarchist element.
