New Delhi: Air carrier IndiGo debuted its business class offering titled IndiGo Stretch today. The IndiGo Stretch offering was debuted in the Delhi-Mumbai route and the offering will be expanded to other routes in due time. IndiGo CEO Pieter Elbers took to LinkedIn to share glimpses of the inaugural flight stating that this was the “inaugural business class IndiGoStretch flight”.
Elbers went on to write that IndiGo operates 2,200 flights per day and each day has 1,440 minutes.
What IndiGO CEO said
Elbers said he booked a seat in advance and described how the moment was commemorated by lighting a lamp wit the first IndiGo Stretch customer. The IndiGo CEO interacted with customers in-flight. The IndiGo CEO also posted pictures from the inaugural flight with one showing the space offered in the IndiGo Stretch cabin.
The airline shared a post on X stating that “a new chapter takes flight! Celebrating our inaugural #IndiGoStretch flight from #Delhi to #Mumbai”.

IndiGo Stretch route, fare and features
IndiGo Stretch is available on the Delhi-Mumbai route. According to the booking page, an IndiGo Stretch flight costs Rs 18,018 while and Economy flight is priced at Rs 9,845 per head. IndiGo Stretch passengers are entitled to a complementary standard vegetarian meal box. They can also purchase a meal online or in-flight.
Stretch allows 30 kg of checked-in baggage per customer up to 2 pieces. The hand baggage allowance on these flights is 12 kgs. IndiGo Stretch passengers are entitled to complimentary priority and anytime boarding, according to the airline’s official website.
