Many states including Delhi-NCR, UP, Haryana, Bihar and Maharashtra are alert of heavy rainfall.

Orange and Yellow alert released rain

The Meteorological Department has issued an orange alert of rain in Himachal, Uttarakhand and Jammu. Along with this, heavy rains have been feared in some districts of Punjab, Haryana and Rajasthan. At the same time, a yellow alert of rain has been issued in many states including Delhi, Gujarat, Uttar Pradesh, Bihar, Jharkhand, West Bengal and Odisha. Where there may be light to heavy rains.

Black clouds occur in Delhi-NCR, it will rain

According to the Meteorological Department, Delhi-NCR will have dense black clouds till Sunday, Monday and Tuesday. During this period, rain has also been estimated in many places. The Meteorological Department said that there will be rain in many parts of Delhi-NCR on Sunday morning.

Rain is expected in many districts of UP

Uttar Pradesh has alert of heavy rain from today to September 2 (Sunday to Tuesday). Several districts of western and eastern UP are estimated to have strong rains. The local Meteorological Department said that torrential rains are likely in Prayagraj, Varanasi, and Gorakhpur in UP.

Rain alert in 13 districts in Haryana

Haryana has a strong rains alert on Sunday. The Meteorological Department has issued an alert for heavy rainfall for all these districts, including Rohtak, Karnal, Hisar, and Gurugram.

Several districts including Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura will rain

Many districts of Bihar are raining heavily. There is a possibility of heavy rains on Sunday in districts like Saharsa, Supaul, Madhepura, and Bhojpur. Alert of thunderstorms and strong winds has also been released in many districts of Bihar. Due to this, people have been asked to take precautions.

Many districts including Mumbai are alert of rain

Mumbai, the capital of Maharashtra, has been raining heavily for the last several days. Waterlogging was seen on the roads of Mumbai due to rain. Traffic jams are also taking place on the roads in the morning and evening time. The local Meteorological Department has predicted rain in Marathwada, Vidarbha and Konkan areas including Mumbai today. Nagpur and Pune will also be cloudy. During this time, sporadic rain may occur in these two districts.
