Trailer release of Manoj Bajpayee’s film Jugnuma, Tilottama Shom will also come to see

Filmmaker Vetri Maran, Lejo Jose Pelice, Raj B.K. Shetty and Nag Ashwin released the trailer of the film ‘Jugnuma (The Fabble)’ starring Manoj Bajpayee on Saturday. It will be presented by Academy Award winners Guneet Monga Kapoor and Anurag Kashyap. ‘Jugnuma’ is directed by Ram Reddy, who gained fame globally with his national award winner Kannada first film ‘Tithi’. Set in the late 80s, ‘Jugnuma’ is based on Dev (Bajpayee), who mysteriously discovered burned trees in the vast wealth of its fruit gardens settled in the Indian Himalayas. According to the press note shared by the manufacturers, despite all the efforts, there is more fire, making him and his family realize their real identity.

Apart from Bajpayee, the film also stars Tilottama Shom, Deepak Dobriyal, Priyanka Bose, Avan Pukot and Heera Sidhu in the lead roles.

The film with dialogues written by Varun Grover has strong actors like Deepak Dobriyal, Priyanka Bose and Tilottama Shom. For Reddy, this was an unrealistic moment when the trailer of his second feature -directed film Vatri Maran (‘Visaranai’, ‘Asuran’), Lijo Jose Pelice (‘Angamali Diaries’, ‘Jallikattu’), Raj B.K. Shetty, who recently launched the Kannada blockbuster ‘So from So’ and Nag Ashwin (‘Kalki 2898 AD’, ‘Mahanati’), as stated in the press note. According to the press note, Ram Reddy said, ‘For a filmmaker, such moments seem almost unrealistic. Some of our generation’s furious storytellers coming together in support of ‘firefly’ are polite and deeply confirmed. The film was born from an intimate journey of magical realism – made in the heart and void – and seeing it being adopted by such veterans of Indian cinema, I believe that cinema is really a dream for which it is worth struggling. ‘ Jugnuma will be a nationwide release in theaters on 12 September 2025.
