After this, the aircraft was safely launched at Delhi Airport. The aircraft is currently being investigated.

An Air India spokesperson said the flight AI2913 going from Delhi to Indore on 31 August returned to Delhi soon after flying as the cockpit crew indicated a fire in the right engine. Following the standard process, the cockpit crew decided to shut down the engine and returned to Delhi, where the aircraft landed safely. The aircraft has been stopped for inspection, and passengers are being transferred to an alternative aircraft, which will soon operate to Indore.
