The Monalisa starrer film ‘The Diary of Manipur’ has been in the discussion ever since. In this film, Mahakumbh’s ‘viral girl’ Monalisa is going to be seen in the lead role. Meanwhile, director Sanoj Mishra along with his entire team had a special meeting with former Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh. He also talked about the story of the film. Some time ago there was a tremendous controversy about this movie that director Sanoj Mishra is trying to rape Monalisa. However, the court later acquitted him. The famous film ‘The Diary of Manipur’, which is being made on the backdrop of violence affected Manipur, is being shot in the Rajdhani Imphal these days amid heavy security.

Sanoj was caught in controversies before the film’s release

Monalisa’s film director Sanoj Mishra recently took her blessings and guidance from former Manipur Chief Minister N Biren Singh. There are already many types of talks about the film. Sanoj Mishra came into the limelight among the people when he decided to cast Mahakumbh’s ‘viral girl’ Monalisa as the main heroine in her film, after which everyone was surprised. Before starting the shooting, she shifted Monalisa and her family to Ujjain and got special training. However, in the meantime, Wasim Rizvi made false allegations against him and was sent to jail. After the truth came to light, the court rejected Wasim Rizvi’s allegations and took action on him and acquitted Sanoj Mishra.

Shooting started amid tight security

The shooting of the first schedule of ‘The Diary of Manipur’ has been completed in Etawah. Now the second schedule is going on in Manipur. The film’s team has been kept in a special protocol in view of the security arrangements during the shooting. N Biren Singh not only greeted Sanoj Mishra and his team but also assured to provide security on behalf of the state government. An Biren Singh said that even under adverse circumstances, the attempt to bring out the voice of Manipur through art is commendable. During this, the entire team including film actors Amit Rao, Abhishek Tripathi, executive producer Satyadev Kumar, Creative Writer Milan Coisam and Prem Chand were present.
