The soldiers immediately started firing to prevent infiltration attempt. After this, the terrorists also started firing. After this, the terrorists tried to escape, but the security forces have laid siege to the entire area. Terrorists are being searched.

The army said that the terrorists were trying to enter the country from Pakistan -occupied Kashmir. This infiltration attempt was on a day when Union Home Minister Amit Shah was on a visit to Jammu today to assess the heavy rains last month and the sudden floods that occurred last month.

Two terrorists were arrested with weapons a day earlier in Poonch.
Earlier, Jammu and Kashmir Police on Sunday arrested two terrorists from Azamabad in Poonch district. Weapons were also found from him. The terrorists were identified as Tariq Sheikh of Azamabad and Riyaz Ahmed of Chamber village.

According to the police, he raided Sheikh’s house in Azamabad and arrested him along with his colleague Ahmed. After interrogation of both, the police team recovered two assault rifles and some ammunition from Sheikh’s rented house in Jallian village.

According to sources, Bagu Khan had been living in Pakistan Occupied Kashmir (POK) since 1995. He was active in terrorist activities for 25 years and was one of the oldest helpers of infiltration. He was involved in more than 100 infiltration incidents.

Bagu Khan was aware of all the paths of infiltration in Jammu and Kashmir and also knew how to avoid being caught. Hence he was named ‘Human GPS’. He was the most wanted terrorist of Hizbul Mujahideen on the list of security agencies.
