High Court Bar Association’s decision, lawyers will not advocate for those who burn stubble, it affects the fertilizer capacity.
Palpal correspondent, Jabalpur.Jabalpur Bar Association in MP has decided not to advocate for the farmers who burn stubble. The High Court Bar has passed this proposal unanimously.
Bar Association President Dhanya Kumar Jain says that farmers will be told that using stubble properly increases the fertility of the soil. The environment can also be saved. Farmers often burn the stubble in the fields after harvesting paddy. This not only causes pollution but also causes serious harm to the animals and environment present in the fields.
It is noteworthy that the district administration gave advice to the farmers several times. But its effect was not visible. In such a situation, the High Court has now come forward. Keeping in view the environment and public interest, Madhya Pradesh High Court Bar has taken the decision. According to agricultural scientists, burning of stubble destroys the nutrients present in the leaves and increases the temperature of the soil. This also has a bad effect on the biological structure of the soil. Also air pollution increases. Due to which the risk of smog and other diseases increases. Burning of stubble poses a risk of fire to nearby crops and population. Apart from this, the risk of road accidents and diseases also increases due to air pollution. Farmers should stop this practice and use the stubble properly instead of burning it.
