After losing the toss, the team of Netherlands came out to bat first and looked helpless in front of Bangladesh bowlers. Bowlers proved the decision of captain Litton Das to win the toss and choose bowling. Left-arm spinner Nasam Ahmed changed the attitude of the match by taking two wickets in his first over. Hero fast bowler Taskin Ahmed (2/22) and Mustafizur Rahman (2/18) of the previous match also attacked continuously and did not let the innings of the Netherlands recover.

Nasam Ahmed later completed his superb bowling with a 3/21 figure by dismissing Paul van Mekaran. At the same time, Mehdi Hasan took the most important wicket, the top scorer of the Netherlands, Aryan Dutt, who scored 30 runs. The entire team was reduced to just 103 runs in 17.3 overs.

Bangladesh’s start was strong to chase the target. Tanjid Hasan and Parvez Hussain Imon shared a 40 -run partnership. Tanjid, a 64 -run partnership with captain Litton Das (18*), gave the team an easy win by 9 wickets in 13.1 overs.
