Shikhar dhawan on Afghanistan earthquake:
The Afghanistan team is currently playing the Troi series being played in the UAE. But the earthquake in his country at 11:47 pm on Sunday (August 31) caused havoc, which measured 6 on the Richter scale. People from all over the world appeared depressed by this devastation, which also included former India batsman Shikhar Dhawan.

Let us know that after Sunday, the next day i.e. on Monday (September 01), there was a furore, whose intensity was 4.6. The devastation of the earthquake lost more than 800 people in Afghanistan, while thousands of people were injured.

Shikhar Dhawan’s heart broken by Afghanistan Earthquake

Dhawan took time through social media platform X. Dhawan prayed for the injured to recover soon. Apart from this, he prayed for the families of people who lost their lives.

The former Indian batsman posted, “My condolences to all those affected by the devastating earthquake in Afghanistan. I pray for the safety and power of those families who lost their loves and wish the injured to recover soon.”

India sent help

Let us know that the hand has been extended by India to help Afghanistan. India’s Foreign Minister Jaishankar told through X how India has come forward to help.

External Affairs Minister Jaishankar wrote in his post, “Today, Afghanistan’s Foreign Minister Mawalvi spoke to Amir Khan Muttki. He expressed his condolences on the loss of life and property in the earthquake.”

1000 tents sent

It was further written, “It was told that India has delivered tents to 1000 families in Kabul today. 15 tonnes of food items from Kabul to Kunar are also being transported immediately through Indian mission. More relief materials will be sent from India from tomorrow.”

Praying for the people further, he wrote, “I wish the injured to recover soon. India stands with Afghanistan in this difficult time.”
