New rail service will start between Haryana and UP! 15,000 crore project, there will be 8 new stations on this route
Haryana Government is making continuous efforts to strengthen public transport connectivity. In this series, a big good news has come for thousands of people who are facing hours of traffic jam and problems in commuting between Gurugram and Greater Noida. A plan has been made to build RRTS between these two cities. The construction of this corridor will greatly benefit the working people and students in these cities.
Central government made a plan
The central government has planned to build a Regional Rapid Transit System (RRTS) to connect Gurugram to Greater Noida in Delhi-NCR. This 60 km long corridor will connect Rajiv Chowk of Gurugram with Noida Sector-142 and Surajpur of Greater Noida. In between it will pass through Bata Chowk of Faridabad.
There is a plan to build 8 stations on this proposed 60 kilometer long corridor. With the construction of this corridor, the picture of transportation system in Delhi-NCR will completely change. It is estimated that Rs 15 thousand crore will be spent on this project. While its construction will provide relief from traffic pressure, the environment will also be protected from pollution.
Haryana CM discussed
In this regard, a meeting has been held between Haryana CM Nayab Saini and Union Urban and Housing Minister Manohar Lal Khattar. During this, there was a discussion between the two regarding RRTS corridor development and metro expansion, in which the expansion of Karnal Gurugram Metro from Sarai Kale Khan to AIIMS located at Badhsa was also discussed.
Additionally, plans also include connecting Delhi’s IGI Airport with major NCR hubs like Gurugram, Faridabad and Jewar Airport through RRTS network, which will further improve the connectivity of these three cities. In future, its expansion from Sarai Kale Khan to Dharuhera, Bawal and Shahjahanpur of Rajasthan is also being considered.
